I am Vickie Anderson, LMT, MMT. Nationally certified, I am also a certified Master Massage Therapist, which means that I have more experience than most therapists. There are many extra requirements necessary to qualify for that MMT license! There is a big difference! Formerly with Vande Therapy, Inc., I am announcing the Grand Opening of my new massage therapy clinic, Massage & Muscle Therapy, by Vickie, at the new location, 600 Bypass Dr. in Clearwater, Suite 107 (just off of Gulf to Bay, next to Sam’s Wholesale club). I specialize in amazing natural pain relief through unique stretching techniques for connective tissue and muscles that are causing the discomfort. Deep tissue and neuromuscular release is applied, if necessary. This is a very effective approach to lasting pain relief. I also offer a customized relaxation massage, using complimentary hot stones therapy and aromatherapy with every massage, unless the client prefers otherwise. I schedule by appointment only, (no walk-ins) for sessions Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. I am a caring and nurturing therapist, focusing only on my client’s needs. My work is my passion! Kathryn Stover graduated from the Massage Therapy Program Healing Arts Institute, Fort Collins, Colorado in 1999. In 2003 she completed the Florida licensing requirements, at the Bhakti Academe in Safety Harbor, Florida and has achieved the designation of NCTMB (Nationally Certified Therapeutic and Massage Bodyworker). Kathryn is currently a Reiki Master and specializes in a more gentle approach to massage. She is certified in Medical Massage and has taken a variety of additional continuing educational courses including CranialSacral I, Hawaiian Temple Bodywork (lomi lomi) and Hot Stone Therapy. To provide the most healing treatment for you as an individual, she will discuss the choices with you and then incorporate a variety of these modalities in your session as appropriate.
